Jennifer Mathiesen

I have been tattooing for 22 years. I had a traditional apprenticeship that started in 1999 and I quickly fell in love with tattooing as my main art medium and has since been integrated into every aspect of my life. A decade plus after starting to tattoo I decided to study art and different mediums and fulfilled an art degree majoring in fine arts. Continuing my education and furthering my art knowledge of different art, subjects, and mediums has helped me grow and learn as a tattooist. I try to stay versatile and love multiple styles of tattooing. I love fine line, intricate, delicate, designs, floral work, stippling. I love to do portrait work, traditional tattoos and realism. I love little tattoos, big tattoos, pieces that flow and cover large part of the body. I am inspired by my clients, their style and art concepts. Imagery and inspiration behind a tattoo is such a personal thing. Being able to bring an image in your head to a reality is a big part of the joy of tattooing.
